We are excited to introduce our FANTASTIC Summer Camp Team for 2014 at Vetta Sports – Soccerdome. This is just a nibble of the talent that we have at each location to make your child’s summer a memorable experience.
Michael A
Coach Michael comes to Vetta Sports Soccerdome as a new hire this year, he graduated from Windsor High School and currently plays soccer for Harris Stowe State University. Michael recently became certified to teach Physical Education and Health. If you ask his favorite sport, you will find that he loves Soccer, because it’s awesome! 🙂 When asked why he looks forward to working with the Summer Camp program he says, he looks forward to watching his campers develop into athletes as they grow older.
Michael Fun Fact: I have one black lab named Kobe. I named him Kobe after my favorite basketball player, Kobe Bryant.
Tyron B – aka T-BONE
Coach Tyron comes to Vetta Sports Soccerdome as a new hire this year. In his spare time he enjoys playing baseball, soccer and and basketball. His favorite sport to watch is college basketball. Tyron enjoys traveling to Florida and hopes to go to Australia someday. We are currently awaiting a picture of Coach T Bone Smiling.
Fun Fact: I love to snowboard.
Kelan D. aka Key
Coach Kelan has worked for our Vetta Soccerdome facility since 2010. Kellan graduated from Webster Groves High School in 2013 and is currently attending Spring Hill College. In his spare time he loves going to Cardinal Baseball games and traveling. When asked about his favorite childhood memories, he responds All of the time I spent playing baseball. While Kelan says he was never lucky enough to attend camp as a child at Vetta. He looks forward to working with the campers this summer again. His favorite part of camp is definitely going on the field trips. When asked why he enjoys working with children, he answers…It is a fun time, you get to create a special bone with the kids and they really look up to you.
Fun Fact: I am really good at staring contests.
Ryan F aka Fages
Coach Ryan comes to Vetta Sports Soccerdome as a new hire this Summer. He recently graduated from Chaminade College Prep. Vetta is a family affair for Ryan, he grew up playing soccer at Vetta and even watched his father play at the clubs. In his spare time Ryan enjoys traveling, especially the Oregon Coast and his favorite childhood memories include skiing with his family. When asked what he looks forward to most about summer camp, he answers… having fun with the kids, because they are fun and energetic.
Fun Fact: Ryan has lots of pets- two dogs Gem and Blake, Fish, Chickens, Cats- Marley, Fang and Posey.
Mikayla K aka Micky
Coach Mikayla has worked Summer Camp at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since 2013. In Mikayla s spare time she swims (practicing 10 times per week!), plays the cello and watches movies on Netflix. Mikayla s favorite part of Summer Camp at Vetta Sports are the field trips- she loves going places! When asked why she enjoys working with children she responds… They are so happy and full of life, they always put me in a good mood.
Fun Fact: I don t like peanut butter!
Casey K
Coach Casey has worked Summer Camp at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since May of 2012. In Casey’s spare time she loves camping and getting away from the city. She also enjoys watching Blues Hockey. Casey grew up watching her parents play soccer at Vetta. When asked why she enjoys working with children she responds… I love working with children because each one is different in their own way. Did we mention one of her greatest talents is her patience?
Fun Fact: I have a Pit Bull named Kiera that is scared of her own shadow and a cat named Autumn- they are best of friends!
Tim M aka Timmy Coach
Tim has worked at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since November of 2011. Tim graduated from Webster Groves High School. In his spare time he enjoys watching baseball. His favorite home cooked meal is lasagna and when asked if stranded on a desert island who the one person he would like to be stranded with… his answer Gary Busey. You’ll have to ask him about that one. 🙂
Fun Fact: I am ambidextrous!
Jessie P
Coach Jessie has worked at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since September of 2013. She graduated from Festus High School in 2011 and recently graduated from Fontbonne University. Jessie played softball at Fontbonne as a utility player and her favorite part of the game was hitting! Jessie s believes her favorite part of Summer Camp at Vetta Sports will be the water days, she looks forward to going outside to play on the waterslides. When asked why she enjoys working with children she responds… Working with kids always puts me in a better mood because they are always happy to see you. They will start your day off with a smile and be so excited to see you every morning.
Fun Fact: I traveled to Ireland last summer with my Grandparents and loved it there!
Tyler R aka Ty
Coach Tyler comes to Vetta Sports Soccerdome this Summer as a new hire, he currently attends Maryville University. In Tyler s spare time he enjoys watching soccer and playing soccer. Tyler believes his favorite part of Summer Camp at Vetta Sports will be the playing soccer and being able to connect with everyone. When asked why he enjoys working with children he responds…They are always happy no matter what and never fail to put a smile on your face.
Fun Fact: I love to travel and see the world, but I have never been outside of the USA
Dana S aka D
Coach Dana has worked at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since 2010. Dana graduated from Webster Groves High School and recently graduated from Missouri State University. Dana enjoys doing crafts, shopping and traveling in her spare time. Her favorite sport to watch is hockey because it s fast paced. Dana’s favorite part of Summer Camp at Vetta Sports are the field trips!

Melanie’s AKA mel sell
Coach Melanie has worked at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since 2008. Melanie has worked at Vetta doing camps, concessions and birthday parties since high school. In Melanie s spare time she enjoys watching baseball. Melanie’s favorite part of Summer Camp at Vetta Sports are the field trips! When asked why she enjoys working with children she answers… I love seeing them have fun!

Tyler W aka Ty
Coach Tyler has worked at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since 2011. Tyler attended SLU and played in youth soccer leagues at Vetta Sports when younger. In his spare time he likes to play sports. His favorite sport to watch is hockey because it s fast paced. Tyler s favorite part of Summer Camp at Vetta Sports are the kids vs counselor soccer matches! When asked why he enjoys working with children he answers… They keep me busy!

Coach Connor has worked at Vetta Sports Soccerdome since 2010. He graduated from Webster Groves High School and University of Louisville. He has grown up at Vetta playing soccer since a wee lad. In Connor’s spare time he enjoys hiking and enjoying home-cooked lasagna-mmmmm…..
