Vetta Junior Counselors are a very important part of our total camp program. This is an opportunity for youth in the 8th and 9th grade to develop their leadership skills and be an active participant in Vetta Summer Camp.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set a good example according to camp objectives
• Be a good, enthusiastic camper
• Associate with campers instead of other counselors  
• Abide by all rules, policies, and procedures
• Ensure the safety of the campers
• Assist campers during lunch
• Seek adult staff help with difficult campers
• Other duties assigned by Camp Director 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be entering 8th or 9th grade Fall 2010
• Enjoy working with children
• Willing to participate in counselor training sessions
• Willing to commit to set schedules in order to particpate
• Must fill out application and complete interview process 

TO APPLY: 

Complete the online application located just under the picture to the right.  We typically take between 3-4 Jr. Counselors each week.   We offer 11 weeks of camp beginning June 1st, 2010.  Camp runs Monday-Friday 9-4pm.

Cost: 

1st year Jr Counselor-  $75 per week
2nd year Jr Counselor- $25 per week
