What is Racquetball?

What is RACQUETBALL: An awesome lifetime sport that is fun for all ages.

Moms can play with Sons and Dads can play with Daughters.
In addition to being a great work-out, it’s easy to learn, and a lot of FUN.
Racquetball is played on a court 40 feet long x 20 feet wide x 20 feet tall!
The challenge is to score points in rallies while learning all of the angles the ball can bounce developing swing mechanics and lots of different serves.gt;

What is MISSOURI RACQUETBALL at VETTA RACQUET SPORTS:

The Missouri High School Racquetball Association (MOHSRA) is the largest Junior Racquetball Program in the country. Vetta Racquet Sports is the home to the MOHSRA league and hosts league matches and practices for both High School and Middle School players.
In order to grow and develop new players, Vetta hosts a Junior Racquetball Clinic & League to introduce racquetball to the next generation of young people through a fun and organized racquetball program.



Fun, energetic, and personable Vetta Pros teach the following:

  • Rules of the game and how to play
  • Proper grip and swing mechanics for forehand and backhand
  • A variety of age specific racquetball games
  • Drills for serves, ceiling balls, footwork, strategy, and court positioning

 

HOW: No equipment necessary. Players can borrow eyewear and a racquet.

WHO: For Grades 3rd-5th

WHEN: 6 weeks, September 25 – October 30, Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30pm
