Summer is just around the corner, and it’s time to book your child’s summer camp experience now. Vetta Sports has been giving kids a fun, healthy, and safe camp experience for over twenty-five years. These camps are made possible by the fine staff at our locations around the St. Louis area. Today, we’d like to introduce you to the coaches at our Concord summer camp in South County.
Maria Feltz
Maria Feltz has been with Vetta Sports since 1991 and started playing soccer at age 5. Maria’s time coaching and working with children started when she was hired by Vetta Sports in 1991, which is also the year she won the soccer nationals with Meramec College. Maria also played at Vetta and her favorite soccer player is Messi. Her favorite part of the summer camp is getting to know the parents and kids. Maria’s favorite place in the world is Venice, Italy, and if she could go anywhere on Earth it would be England. She enjoys getting together with her family during the holidays and the best concert she has attended is Coldplay.
Best advice Maria has been given – Don’t do something unless you are willing to give 100%
Coach Sean
Coach Sean has worked for Vetta Sports Concord since 2017. Sean started playing soccer when he was 3 years old and his favorite soccer memory is making Varsity Soccer. His favorite soccer player is Frank Lampard. Sean loves soccer and helping others. His favorite family tradition is their Pig Roast. Sean’s favorite place in the world is Croatia, and if he could go anywhere on Earth it would be Croatia. The best concert he has ever attended is Justin Timberlake. Something no one knows about you? I can burp on command.
Best Advice Sean has been given – If you’re good at something, don’t do it for free.
Coach Mia
Coach Mia has worked for Vetta Sports Concord since 2013 and has played in many leagues growing up. Mia’s favorite part of summer camp is Pizza Fridays. Mia started playing soccer when she was 3 years old and her favorite soccer memory includes going to Saints camp with my team 8 years in a row. Her favorite soccer player is Ronaldinho – Best Brazilian with great foot skills!!! Mia loves soccer, family, and friends. Mia’s favorite place in the world is Peru, and if she could go anywhere on Earth it would be Brazil. When asked why she coaches children, Mia says: “I love kids and soccer!” The best concert she has ever attended is Panic At The Disco.
Best Advice Mia has been given – Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.
