Who We Are

Our pickleball program is the result of combining high quality instructors, a major commitment to pickleball, and programming specially designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced players.

What We Do

We’re concerned about ensuring that all players have and enjoyable pickleball experience. We focus on everyone, not just the elite players. We offer fun programs (lessons, clinics, open play and leagues) for all skill levels.

Clinic – Introduction to Pickleball. This series of five one-hour classes is an exciting and easy introduction to basic stroke mechanics, scoring and strategy. Movement, knowledge and fun are emphasized. To enhance the learning experience, class size is limited to 8 students. Courts are available to students to practice or play following the clinic. Tower Grove Park Members $60, Non-members $75. Choose from one of the following weekly days and times. 

Session II Week of 7/15 – 8/16

Clinic times available: Monday 6:30 pm, Tuesday 6:30 pm, Thursday 10 am, Saturday 9 am.

Clinic – Intermediate Drills. This series of five one-hour classes is designed for the experienced intermediate player to advance his/her game. Fundamental stroke technique is developed, live play is emphasized, and doubles positioning is evaluated. Movement, knowledge and fun are emphasized. To enhance the learning experience, class size is limited to 8 students. Courts are available to students to practice or play following the clinic. Tower Grove Park Members $60, Non-members $75.

Session II Week of 7/15 – 8/16

Clinic times available: Monday 7:30 pm, Tuesday 7:30 pm, Thursday 11 am, Saturday 10 am.

 

Private Lessons

Pickleball lessons are a great way to improve your game! The sessions support players training for specific events or working towards predetermined goals.

Beginners can learn proper techniques right from the start and avoid creating bad habits. Lessons will give you the confidence to get involved in the sport. Private lessons can help even the most experienced player fine tune his/her game.

Beginner & Intermediate Clinics – COMING IN OCTOBER

Introduction to Pickleball Clinic

Our one-hour PB101 clinic is designed to teach new players the basics of pickleball. Topics covered include basic shots, rules, doubles strategy and more. The $16 fee (members pay only $12) includes an hour of instruction and an additional hour of open court time for practice or play. For you to enjoy the best learning experience we limit the number of students. Therefore, advance registration is necessary.

Open Play Sessions

At our drop-in open play sessions we assign courts by skill level. There are dedicated beginner, intermediate and advanced level courts. No need to register in advance. We provide paddles and balls.

Reserve a Court

Members can reserve a court to play at a convenient time with your friends!

$12/hour/court for up to 2 hours of play. We require a $5 guest fee for non-members (must be the guest of a member).

Join the

Vetta Pickleball League

Vetta Concord Pickleball Leagues Fall/Winter 2018

Sundays 8:00-10:45pm

3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 skill levels.

A team consists of two men and two women. Each week your team will play a match against another team at your skill level. A match consists of one game each of men’s doubles and women’s doubles, and two games of mixed doubles. Teams earn points for each game won. There will be a champion at each skill level in each division (men, women, mixed), plus an overall team point championship. Advance registration is required. Registration deadline is one week before the session start date. $48/person (membership required).

Six-week members only league session start dates are November 11, January 6, and February 17.

Wednesdays 8:30-10:00pm

3.0 to 4.5 skill levels.

Our members’ only leagues run in six-week sessions. Leagues are organized by skill level unless otherwise specified. Two matches each week against teams at your skill level, with a championship playoff the final week. Advance registration is required. Registration deadline is one week before the session start date. Six-week members only league session start dates are November 14, January 9, and February 20.
