SLU Center for Entrepreneurship Announces the 2013-2014 Smurfit-Stone Entrepreneurial Alumni Hall of Fame Inductees The Center for Entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business presents the 2013-2014 inductees of the Smurfit-Stone Entrepreneurial Alumni Hall of Fame. The four prestigious alumni will receive awards for their distinguished careers and personification of the Centers motto, “Do Good, Do Well.”
The 2013-2014 Hall of Fame class is: Social Entrepreneurship: Gil Bickel, Chairman, Arch Angels Corporate Entrepreneurship: Steven Frank, Vice Chairman, Plancorp Large Independent Entrepreneurship: Chris Sommers, Founder and Owner, Pi Pizzeria Small Independent Entrepreneurship: Peter Spanos, CEO, Vetta Sports Saint Louis University is celebrating forty years of teaching entrepreneurship, making the institution one of the first twenty-five in the world to teach this crucial business skill. Today the John Cook School of Business entrepreneurship program is not only one of the longest standing programs of its kind, but also one of the leading top 15 nationally ranked programs. The Centers faculty is dedicated to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
