What age groups are eligible to participate in Youth Soccer Leagues?
Vetta Sports offers leagues for boys’ and girls’ teams, ages 4 to 14. Leagues are organized based on age and skill level to ensure balanced and competitive play.
When does the season start? How long does it run?
Youth Soccer Leagues offer summer and two winter indoor soccer seasons. Specific start dates and durations can vary. Please check out Vetta’s website for the most up-to-date youth soccer league season dates!
What is the league’s policy on cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen events?
In the event of cancellations, Vetta Sports will notify participants via email and update the website with rescheduling information.
What should my kid wear?
Players should wear the same color uniforms (no numbers or names required) and have an alternate color jersey just in case two teams are the same. Goalies will wear the opposite color of their players on the field.
Indoor soccer shoes or tennis shoes are encouraged, but outdoor rubber cleats are allowed. Players wearing improper indoor or outdoor shoes may not be permitted to play. Shin guards are also recommended but not required.
Are there any volunteer opportunities for parents?
Yes, Vetta Sports encourages parental involvement, including opportunities to volunteer as coaches or team coordinators.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS
How can I register my child for a youth soccer league?
If your child isn’t already on a team, add yourself to our Youth League Free Agent list in St. Louis County or St. Charles County! This list provides league coaches with players to build or fill a team.
Players who prefer not to wait to join a team can register individually for our Instructional League Soccer (ISL). ISL teams are coed and built by age and guarantees your child a chance to play. If you register and join ISL and happen to find to youth team to join after, that switch can be made easily and the difference in price would be refunded.

How do I invite players to my youth soccer league team?
Coaches can invite their players to join their team and pay their team fees by going to their online login and signing in using your email address and password. After accepting the waiver you will see your accounts main page. Find the correct team and click ‘invite’. Enter the email addresses of your players and press ‘send invitation’ (NOTE: Player’s email addresses must be separated by a comma. Also, be sure to include your email if you have a child playing on the team). Your players will receive an email with a link to join your team from which they can enter their information and pay.

Do I follow this same process if my youth soccer league team is the same as the previous season?
If you have the same team roster as last season, and it has been exported over to the new season, do NOT send invites to players who played on your team during the previous season. Send invites only to NEW players not on the roster from the previous season. If you need to drop players, you can do so online, but you will have to drop them individually.
Parents whose child played in the previous season can log in online, and click the blue pay button on the dashboard page (it will be below their child’s name). From there, they can go to the cart at the top right of the screen to checkout.
Why does Vetta charge an annual registration fee?
All youth league players must pay an annual registration fee in addition to the youth league individual player fees. The fee is $45 for an individual or $65 for a family.

The Vetta Sports Annual registration fee benefits those who play additional sessions or partake in additional activities (summer camp, birthday parties, etc.), as well as, helps fund the Vetta Gives Back Scholarship and support charitable organizations.
Are there discounts for Youth Soccer League fees?

Where are the games and practices held?
Youth Soccer League games and practices are held at various Vetta Sports locations. After registration, your Vetta YSL Coach will send your child’s schedule.
What measures are in place to ensure player safety?
All players, Coaches, and referees operate with the Vetta Sports Youth Indoor Soccer League handbook.
